Price Rite of CRANSTON is seeking a Part Time Stocking Clerk to price, stock and rotate merchandise across departments. The role emphasizes friendly checkout service and accurate product presentation.

Work hours are flexible, with 12–25 hours weekly; compensation ranges from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour. Safety, teamwork, and adherence to company policies are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Basic math skills required.
• Able to make change with USD denominations.
• Able to stand/walk for the duration of shift.
• Comply with health, safety and civil code regulations.
• Operate department equipment as needed.
• Lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Provide courteous customer service.
• Maintain neat appearance and dress code policy.
• Work with a variety of products and environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Sanitation and QA standards; clean and sanitize surfaces and equipment.
• Check products received against invoices.
• Operate slicing machines and related equipment where applicable.
• Prepare and replenish products for sale in applicable departments.
• Follow safety and QA procedures and company policies.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Perform price changes and restocking as directed by management.
• Adhere to federal, state, local regulations; maintain proper product rotation.
• Dress according to policy; display name badge and wear uniform.
• Retrieve carts; assist with loading and stocking when needed.
