Job summary

Kj’s Market in the United States is seeking a part-time team member to join our family-owned store. This role offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and a strong benefits package including a 401(k) and tuition assistance.

You will help guests with friendly service, stock shelves, assist with unloading deliveries, and maintain clean, organized backrooms and sales floors while upholding safety standards. This position supports a collaborative team and offers opportunities to learn multiple tasks

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and operate store equipment.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs continuously and 60 lbs occasionally.
• Knowledge of grocery operations and teamwork oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests.
• Stock, rotate, and condition grocery products on shelves.
• Maintain neat and safe work area for guests.
• Maintain organized backstock in the backroom.
• Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise on delivery.
• Maintain sanitation standards on sales floor and backroom.
• Communicate temperature issues to supervisor.
• Perform front-end duties to reduce guest wait times.
• Order product for aisles as assigned by management.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with all guests and hosts.
• Stock, rotate, and condition all grocery product on shelves according to Floco Foods standards and productivity guidelines.
• Maintain neat and safe work area to allow guests to shop without agitation.
• Maintain organized, inventoried backstock in the backroom area.
• Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control, rotation of the shelves and overstock, and proper product handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.
• Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the backroom area.
• Communicates temperature problems to supervisor (dairy and frozen food).
• Performs front-end duties as necessary to ensure “no noticeable wait” standard is upheld and maintained.
• Order product for aisles (as assigned by management).
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
