Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is hiring for a frontline grocery associate in Chapin, SC. You will interact warmly with guests, stock and rotate grocery items, and keep the floor and backroom organized. You’ll help unload deliveries, ensure sanitation, and support front-end duties to maintain quick checkout times.

The role requires the ability to lift heavy loads, work with others, and learn multiple store tasks under supervision. Prior grocery knowledge is helpful, with a strong emphasis on guest experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Report temperature issues with dairy and frozen food to supervisor.
• Perform front-end duties to maintain no-wait service standards.
• Order product for aisles as assigned by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Overview

To ensure that Lowes Foods guest service and departmental operation is maintained in the grocery department..

Responsibilities

1. 1. Provide polite, friendly interactions with all guests and co-workers.
2. 2. Stock, rotate, and condition all grocery product on shelves according to Lowes Foods standards and productivity guidelines.
3. 3. Maintain neat and safe work area to allow guests to shop without agitation.
4. 4. Maintain organized, inventoried backstock in the backroom area.
5. 5. Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control, rotation of the shelves and overstock, and proper product handling.
6. 6. Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.
7. 7. Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the backroom area.
8. 8. Communicates temperature problems to supervisor (dairy and frozen food).
9. 9. Performs front-end duties as necessary to enable “no noticeable wait” standard to be upheld and maintained.
10. 10. Order product for aisles (as assigned by management).
11. 11. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
