Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a retail associate to support grocery operations in a fast-paced store environment. You will engage customers with a friendly attitude, stock and rotate products, and maintain clean, organized aisles and backrooms.

The role involves assisting with deliveries, managing inventory, and helping with front-end duties to ensure minimal wait times for guests. Physical ability to lift and move stock and operate pallet jacks is required.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly and 60 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Grocery operations knowledge and willingness to learn more tasks.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Capable of bending, kneeling, standing, and moving stock carts.
• Eligible to operate pallet jack and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.
• Stock, rotate, and condition grocery products on shelves.
• Keep work areas neat, safe, and organized for shoppers.
• Maintain backroom inventory and backstock organization.
• Minimize damage and shrink via inventory control and proper handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying delivered merchandise.
• Maintain sanitation on sales floor and backroom.
• Communicate temperature issues to supervisor.
• Perform front-end duties as needed to ensure no noticeable wait.
• Order products for aisles as directed by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
