Lowes Foods is seeking a Grocery Stocker to join our team in South Carolina. The role focuses on stocking, rotating, and maintaining shelves, while ensuring a clean, organized, and safe backroom and sales floor.

You will interact with guests and coworkers to provide a positive shopping experience. The position requires the ability to lift heavy items, read directions, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.

• Maintain neat and safe work area for easy guest shopping.
• Maintain organized backstock in the backroom.
• Minimize damage and shrink through inventory control and proper handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise on delivery to the store.
• Maintain sanitation on sales floor and backroom.
• Report temperature issues to supervisor (dairy and frozen).
• Perform front-end duties to minimize guest wait times.
• Order product for aisles as assigned by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

To ensure that Lowes Foods guest service and departmental operation is maintained in the grocery department.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with all guests and co-workers.


• Stock, rotate, and condition all grocery product on shelves according to Lowes Foods standards and productivity guidelines.


• Maintain neat and safe work area to allow guests to shop without agitation.


• Maintain organized, inventoried backstock in the backroom area.


• Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control, rotation of the shelves and overstock, and proper product handling.


• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.


• Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the backroom area.


• Communicates temperature problems to supervisor (dairy and frozen food).


• Performs front-end duties as necessary to ensure “no noticeable wait” standard is upheld and maintained.


• Order product for aisles (as assigned by management).


• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
