Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing; able to work with others.
• Able to lift 40 lbs constantly and 60 lbs occasionally.
• Able to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of grocery operations and store standards.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and duties.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.
• Stock, rotate, and condition grocery products on shelves per standards.
• Keep work area neat and safe for guests to shop without agitation.
• Maintain organized, inventoried backstock in the backroom.
• Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control and handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise on delivery to the store.
• Maintain sanitation standards on sales floor and backroom.
• Report temperature issues to supervisor for dairy and frozen items.
• Perform front-end duties to ensure no noticeable wait.
• Order product for aisles as assigned by management.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
