Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) is hiring part-time grocery stockers for Cub Northside on Broadway Avenue to maintain stock levels, rotate products, and assist customers with a focus on freshness and minimizing waste.

This role involves following stocking procedures, displaying goods, facing products, and cleaning the sales floor and back room while delivering prompt, courteous service to shoppers. On-site work with varied shifts and weekend hours. Eligible for employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Memorization, reading, writing and math.
• Prompt, courteous and accurate service.
• Good judgment when supervision is not available.
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions.
• Able to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Completes assignments in allotted time.
• Handles product carefully to avoid damage.
• Uses proper case cutting technique.
• Ensures correct placement of stock.
• Rotates and faces product.
• Performs clean-up of sales floor and back room.
• Assist with customer questions or requests.
