Job summary

Carlie C’s IGA is seeking a Stocker to ensure shelves are stocked and customers receive friendly, prompt service. You may bag groceries during high-volume times and must maintain clean aisles and safe conditions for customers and staff.

Responsibilities include lifting, stocking 40–45 cases per hour, and carrying out groceries for customers in a fast-paced environment. A neat appearance and ability to follow guidelines are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, reach, stoop and bend.
• Must enjoy working with the public.
• Must be 16 years of age, friendly and outgoing.
• Neat and clean in appearance.

Responsibilities

• Down stock pallets of groceries and other merchandise to stock carts.
• Stock 40 to 45 cases an hour, rotate and keep shelves clean and blocked.
• Keep sales floor clean of obstacles and slip/trip hazards.
• Make sure any unsafe conditions that exist that could cause accident to customer or associate are corrected.
• Perform basic math skills, read and write.
• Observe Carlie C's Uniform standards and maintain a neat and clean appearance.
• Bag groceries using our Bagging guidelines and careful with fragile items.
• Carry out groceries for Customers.
