Vallarta Supermarkets in Ohio is seeking a friendly Grocery Day Stocker to transport, stock, and display merchandise and prepare curbside orders with care.

You’ll ensure freshness, rotate stock, and follow safety and sanitation standards while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The role involves unloading/loading, inventory checks, and assisting customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Friendly, courteous personality with strong customer service skills.
• Able to learn grocery products and store layout.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• English language proficiency.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cooler environments.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet customers and team members; deliver extraordinary service using Vallarta’s six steps.

• Select, scan, and pack customer orders from all temperature zones with accuracy and care.
• Notify supervisors of inventory levels to minimize out-of-stocks/overstocks.
• Maintain merchandise on shelves and displays.
• Comply with food safety, health code, and sanitation practices.
• Handle merchandise carefully to minimize damage and shrink.
