Columbiana Foods, Inc. d/b/a Giant Eagle is seeking a Grocery Stock Clerk to maintain stock levels and assist customers in the Giant Eagle store in Ohio.

The role involves stocking shelves, building displays, and answering customer questions to ensure a positive shopping experience. The position requires physical stamina, the ability to lift heavy items, and the capability to work in a cold environment including coolers and freezers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow instructions.
• Verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide products and services that are competitively priced and meet customer requirements and company mission statements.
• Keep shelves full by stocking from deliveries or backroom and backing areas, opening cases, and stocking shelves.
• Build displays by moving merchandise from back room to sales area and onto displays.
• Operate paper baler to make bales.
• Answer customer questions pleasantly and accurately.
