Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Mount Pleasant, SC is hiring for a Grocery Team Member to support receiving and stocking, maintaining the floor, and assisting customers with knowledgeable service. Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Stand/walk for 6-8 hours per shift.
• Comfort with cold temperatures in work areas.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cases and shelves clean, stocked, and front-faced with accurate pricing.
• Stocks and cleans grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy case.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to leaders and shift supervisor.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps sample areas tidy.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Reports safety hazards and follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
