Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a warehouse associate to support customer service, product handling, and stock management at our Matthews, NC location. You will help customers, process and stock products to standard, and keep work areas clean while cooperating with teammates to ensure smooth operations.

Applicants should be able to read and understand basic English instructions, lift up to 60 pounds, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English; write simple correspondence in English.

Responsibilities

• Take excellent care of customers by satisfying each customer's needs and exceeding their expectations.
• Process, package, and stock products according to Grocery Standards; clean work areas; unload stock and reload salvage.
• Provide customer service and cooperate with fellow associates to maintain a positive workplace.
