Food Lion in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Store Associate in the Center Store (Grocery) department. You will provide quality customer service, maintain stock and shelf conditions, and help control inventory according to standard practices.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, following plan-o-grams, using ACIS/CAO tools, and complying with Food Safety guidelines. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, with a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements; able to meet physical requirements.
