Pepsi Bottling Ventures LLC is seeking a Merchandiser for the Raleigh area to stock coolers, set up displays, rotate products, and manage promotions. The role requires strong customer service skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for merchandise placement, product ordering, and ensuring accurate backroom organization, with opportunities to contribute to sales and display execution across our beverage portfolio.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is highly preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience may compensate for a diploma.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Physically demanding; able to work heavy labor.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, displays, and coolers per PBV standards.
• Sell and execute promotions.
• Create and use point-of-sale signage.
• Develop good customer relations and serve customers as scheduled.
• Order product and/or run invoices.
• Maintain backroom storage, rotate stock, and clean equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Merchandiser Role Overview

Merchandises products by stocking shelves, rotating products, setting up displays, cooler stocking/rotation, backroom organization, and moving products from backroom to sales floor. Accurately orders product for the next delivery.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Fills and merchandises all coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors in accordance with PBV standards.
• Sells and executes all promotions.
• Creates and utilizes point-of-sale signage.
• Develops good customer relations.
• Services all customers as scheduled.
• Orders product and /or runs invoices.
• Cleans equipment, maintains backroom storage in an orderly fashion, and rotates stock.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED highly preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to perform basic financial calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Must have a positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills.
• Must be customer-oriented and focused.
