Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk to support our Fresh departments with a friendly, customer‑focused approach. You’ll help customers, share product knowledge, and ensure clean, well‑stocked displays while following safety and quality standards.

You’ll work across departments, using store technology to complete tasks efficiently. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required, and physical activity is a normal part of the role.

Qualifications

• Create a fresh, welcoming store experience in Fresh departments.
• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find items.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products per standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow safety standards and procedures.
• Collaborate across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
