Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with received merchandise.
• Process freight delivery.
• Create new display sets, end caps, stock shelves, zone/face all aisles.
• Sort grocery merchandise, assign labels and price tags.
• Ensure replenishment of sold merchandise.
• Monitor shelf life of merchandise and rotate as needed.
• Maintain inventory in stockroom.
• Prominently display promotional merchandise.
• Maintain reports for overages, shortages and damages.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Grocery Overnight Clerk is responsible for stocking shelves with received merchandise.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Process freight delivery
• Creates new displays sets end caps, stocks shelves, zone/face all isles
• Sorts grocery merchandise assigning labels and price tags
• Ensure replenishment of sold merchandise
• Monitor shelf life of merchandise ensuring proper rotation when needed
• Maintaining inventory in stockroom
• Prominently display promotional merchandise
• Maintaining reports for overages, shortages and damages
• Other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Warehouse experience and forklift experience preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Physical Demands And Work Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use the hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
• Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• The work environment is that typical of an office and retail store. The noise level ranges from quiet to loud
• Able to drive and flexible to travel to all company locations as required
• LIFTING: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Work schedules are variables depending on the needs of price changes the schedules will be variable working from midnight
