Job summary

Kroger in Bowling Green, FL is seeking a frontline team member to help create outstanding customer experiences through friendly service, accurate product knowledge, and a welcoming environment. You will assist the department manager in daily sales goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You will also stock, label, and stock department merchandise, answer questions, suggest products, and ensure food-safety compliance, including proper temperatures and logs.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Effective communication skills in customer interactions.
• Any retail experience is a plus.
• Second language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about products
• Recommend grocery items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need; inform customers of grocery specials

• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise; provide customers with fresh products that they have ordered
