Job summary

Eataly is seeking a Grocery Sales Associate to stock and display products in the Housewares and Grocery departments while delivering outstanding guest service. You will report to the Market Manager and help maintain attractive product presentation, inventory, and safety standards across the department.

Typical duties include stocking, rotating stock with FIFO, and supporting back-stock organization. Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous stocking experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team.
• Verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Stocks, rotates, merchandises and faces products according to department procedures.
• Ensures all grocery items are merchandised attractively as per quality standards.
• Rotates products according to FIFO standards.
• Maintains and organizes back-stock and warehouse storage areas according to department standards.
• Adheres to all guidelines about product recommendations and information.
• Communicates department’s needs to manager promptly and efficiently.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment in compliance with laws.
• Performs light cleaning duties as necessary.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
