Town Pump Company is seeking a Store Grocery Merchandiser to maintain pricing, rotate stock, and build engaging in-store displays. The role involves coordinating with multiple vendors, checking deliveries, and keeping shelves clean and merchandised to spec.

The position requires attention to pricing details, shelf discipline, and the ability to manage backstock while supporting store operations and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining accurate pricing, tags, and shelf labeling.
• Ability to manage inventory and ensure freshness and rotation.
• Strong attention to detail and vendor coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Correct and maintain all product pricing, daily if necessary; including downloads of price changes Pricebook, cooler pricing, white tag items, price tag numbers updated, track updated and discontinued items.
• Keep store clean and attractive with ample quality merchandise; maintain accurate pricing on inventory, including price changes and markups and downs.
• Order merchandise from multiple vendors and check-in vendor products, returning guaranteed items weekly; cross-reference deliveries and put away stock orders while maintaining backstock at minimal level.
• Keep products stocked and rotated by monitoring expiration dates; build creative displays and set merchandise to schematic with vendor aid.
• Print price books, maintain PLUs, displays, and signage.
• Perform clerk duties as described in the clerk job description.
