Job summary

C.A. Fortune is seeking a part-time Grocery Merchandiser to manage a Charlotte, NC territory. You will perform store visits, photo reporting, and mobile app reporting, with lifts up to 50 pounds. Bilinguals preferred but not required. 24 hours per week, $20/hour.

You will help gain distribution, stock products, and conduct audits across multiple accounts while staying compliant with store guidelines. Travel between stores within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver license, proof of automobile insurance.
• Ability to drive to stores in assigned territory for retail tasks & audits.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Gain and maintain product distribution by establishing strong relationships with store teams.
• Retail work will entail ordering products, working product to shelves from new orders, etc.
• Conduct audits in area grocery stores.
• Travel to and between store locations within the designated territory.
• Verify that our clients' products are accurately represented on store shelves.
• Maintain a safe working environment while working in the stores.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to dress code and attendance guidelines.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, retail environment with minimal supervision.
• Comply with any additional guidelines established by the Store Team.
• Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.

Overview of the Role

The Grocery Merchandiser will properly manage their assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, and tasks. They will have the ability to take pictures and complete reporting requirements with the technology provided. This position will require merchandising, and the ability to repeatedly bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Location: Charlotte, NC (within a 25-55 mile radius). This position is part time, 24 hours a week, 3 days a week. Compensation: $20 hourly.

You will be responsible for pre-selling, merchandising, gaining/maintaining distribution within a variety of accounts. Ensure our clients' products are well stocked and order if product is not in stock or low. This position requires consistent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication. This position requires you to switch between tasks such as stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams throughout the day. You must be able to lift, bend/stoop for extended periods of time. This is a position where you work independently, follow directions, and have excellent communication skills. Bilingual preferred but not required.
