Responsibilities

• Engaging peers to provide the best possible shopping experience for customers, including checkout.
• Communicating with team members and assigning daily tasks.
• Mentoring and coaching team members to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Support training new team members and cross-training high potential talent.
• Assist with department scheduling to improve engagement and store performance.
• Ensure freshness and rotate products, following dating policies.
• Maintain food safety and safe working practices.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and product displays as applicable.
• Contribute to a culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Operate registers and handle cash when needed.
• Operate powered equipment where applicable.
• Participate in inventories and other duties as assigned.
