Job summary

• Check product quality to ensure freshness and review sell-by dates.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers and maintain temperature logs.
• Reinforce safety programs and identify unsafe conditions, notifying store management.
• Inspect equipment and report any needed repairs to management.
• Notify management of customer or employee accidents and report safety risks or illegal activity.
