Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Grocery Team Leader (Key Holder) in the United States to lead store operations with a focus on customer service, inventory, and sales excellence. You will manage daily tasks, support team members, and ensure Store conditions meet standards.

The role emphasizes leadership development, stock management, and strong compliance with cash handling and safety procedures. Retail experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail experience with increasing responsibility.
• Valid driver's license strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful pre-employment checks including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and assist in daily operations.
• Unload merchandise, organize stock, and transfer to floor.
• Maintain product rotation and proper food handling.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships.
• Cash handling, deposits, and register counts.
• Assist in training and supervising sales associates.

Pay: $18+/Hour

As part of the leadership team, you will make an impact by: Opening and closing the Store valid drivers license strongly preferred Help complete daily Store operations and tasks for the day Assists in unloading all merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transfers merchandise from stockroom to store. Maintaining merchandise - product rotation, proper food handling, receiving, ensure product quality Providing exceptional customer service - building relationships, problem-solving, and building sales Cash handling - bank deposits, getting change for cashiers, setting and counting down registers Helping to build and train the team! Develop leadership skills while aiding in supervising sales associates in the performance of their assigned duties.
