Meijer Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver a welcoming store experience in our Fresh departments.

You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, maintain appealing displays, stock and merchandise according to standards, and use technology to complete tasks efficiently. You’ll follow food safety procedures, work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery, and stay active in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
