Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (Cub Cottage Grove) is seeking a part-time cashier to support front-end checkout procedures with courteous, efficient service.

You will interact with customers, process transactions, and assist with basic store-level bookkeeping duties to help ensure a smooth shopping experience. The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Memorization, reading, writing and math.
• Ability to operate store equipment (scanner, register, coupon machine, etc.).
• Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with front-end checkout and basic bookkeeping duties at store level.
• Assist customers and ensure courteous service from all staff.
• Scan products and process customer orders accurately and promptly.
• Handle forms of tender and coupons correctly, including voids/returns/exchanges.
• Answer customer questions and maintain front-end cleanliness and maintenance.
