Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a customer-focused associate to maintain a safe, clean environment and assist the department manager in achieving sales goals. You will answer questions, stock shelves, and ensure product freshness while upholding food safety standards.

Responsibilities include helping customers, suggesting products, maintaining temperature logs, and reporting any safety or discrepancy issues to management. Retail experience is a plus; bilingual abilities are desired.

Qualifications

• Provide customers with fresh products they ordered.
• Recommend grocery items to meet customer needs.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates; take action as needed.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies in ordering/shipping to the department manager.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and report items needing repairs.
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks.
