Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a merchandiser to stock shelves, rotate products, and set up displays in grocery and other large-volume stores. The role includes moving products from storage to the sales floor and working with store personnel to ensure displays are attractive and up-to-date.

The position involves lifting 20–45 lb cases, operating hand trucks and pallet jacks, and maintaining organized backrooms. Reliable attendance and adherence to procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have valid U.S. Driver's License and proof of insurance.
• Must have car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift.
• Pass the physical capabilities test (if applicable).
• Regular, reliable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts.
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf.
• Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location.
• Use equipment to transport products (e.g., U Boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks).
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts.
• Keep back room stock neat and orderly.
• Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management.
• Build customer relationships at the store level.
• Comply with operating procedures (scan-in/scan-out, designated routes).
• Service accounts during designated times established by management.
• Deliver customer service (communication, rapport, attentiveness).
• Operate with minimal supervision (self-managed role).
• Use handheld devices to write/input orders.
• Ensure regular, reliable attendance.
