Job summary

Quality Food Centers is seeking a department manager for our Grocery operations. Lead daily department activities, ensure safe/clean conditions, and coach associates to deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise inventory, pricing, and CAO processes while upholding company values and budget goals.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and management experience, with at least 1 year in grocery retail preferred. Strong focus on food safety and teamwork is essential.

• Experience in management or supervising a team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise department functions and activities.
• Support day-to-day Grocery operations.
• Implement Customer 1st strategy and deliver excellent customer service.
• Train associates on inventory, CAO and pricing updates.
• Plan, organize and supervise inventory and stocking processes.
• Manage department budget, P&L reviews, and financial reporting.
