99 Ranch Market is launching a Grocery Department Manager in Training program in California. The MIT role is a short-term transition to prepare trainees for promotion to a Grocery Department Manager, with progression possible in about 3–5 months based on performance.
During training you will undergo evaluations and, after completion, assume store supervisor duties including SOPs, product knowledge, planning, ordering and staff management.

The Management in Training (MIT) position is a short‑term transitional role that provides employees with work assignments and training opportunities to prepare MITs to be promoted to a retail store’s Grocery Department Manager. From the start date in the Management Training Program, it may be possible to progress to a management position within approximately 3‑5 months, depending on the trainee’s prior experience and performance and learning progress during the Management in Training Program (MIT). To participate in the program, the trainee must meet the qualifications of the Grocery Department Manager listed below.

The pay range for this job starts at $25 per hour during training period. After the employee passed the final assessment, they will be promoted from hourly employee to exempt employee.
