Kj's Market is seeking a Grocery Department Supervisor to lead our friendly team in a fast-paced store environment. You will supervise staff, ensure high-quality guest service, and drive department performance in sales and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 40 lbs. consistently and 60 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the grocery department staff.
• Achieve budgeted sales, wage percent, and profits for the grocery department.
• Maintain inventory and supplies to maximize sales and minimize excess stock.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure product quality meets standards and retail policies.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department and backroom.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to staff.
• Perform stocking and guest service as needed to meet standards.
• Maintain staffing and scheduling within the department.
• Control shrink through proper stock loss procedures.
• Ensure accurate pricing and item scanning through audits.
• Keep backroom organized and stocked.
• Ensure advertised items are available and signed.
• Assist with grocery inventory readiness and vendor coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
