Kroger Co. in East Lansing, MI, is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a safe, clean shopping environment. You will bag groceries at checkout, assist customers with loading bags, and help keep shelves organized and prices checked.

You will work in a fast-paced store, follow safety procedures, and uphold food safety standards while aiding customers and store management. Prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualificações

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Strive to bag at least five items without damaging contents.
• Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves.
• Gather bascarts and return to designated areas.
• Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and parking lot.
• Clean all areas inside and outside of store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout and locate products; conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs and identify unsafe conditions; notify management.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment and notify when repairs are needed.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and valued.
