Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Assist in ensuring bags contain at least five items and avoid damage.
• Follows best practices for bagging in various bag types (reusable/plastic/paper).
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts.
• Clean spills and trash in-store and parking lot and maintain store cleanliness.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Follow food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and notify about items needing repair.
• Create welcoming environment and answer product questions.
