Job summary

ZippyApp Talentral Corp. is seeking a Grocery Clerk to deliver an outstanding customer experience through friendly, efficient service at our Paola, KS location. You will help maintain stock and displays, greet customers, and support management with daily tasks to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires a minimum age of 18, a preference for a high school diploma or GED, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Observe all store rules and company policies.
• Maintain a neat, well groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress regulations.
• Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service.
• Observe shift-operating hours at all times as scheduled by department manager.
• Excellent communication and customer skills.
• Pay attention to details while stocking shelves, organize and build displays, help unload shipments and keep stockroom well organized.
• Display merchandise in an attractive, appealing and neat manner.
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with store policy and state and local health regulations on an ongoing basis.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Able to exert or lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and exert or lift negligible amounts of weight often.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
