Job summary

The Save Mart Companies in Pinole, CA is recruiting for a Multi-Purpose Clerk - Grocery (Receiving) to support Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli and Janitorial. You will assist customers, answer questions, process special orders, and help receive and stock products for freshness and display.

Preferred: High School Diploma or GED and at least 6 months of related experience, strong service and communication skills. Pay range: $17.15–$27.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Center Store/Front End duties: operate the check-stand, stock and rotate products, manage POS and inventory.
• Produce duties: inspect shipments, trim, wash, wrap, and rotate/merchandise produce.
• Meat/Seafood duties: inspect shipments, weigh, wrap, label, and assist customers at the counter.
• Bakery/Deli duties: inspect shipments, package and label goods, stock and merchandize bakery items.
• Janitorial duties: maintain store cleanliness and sanitation throughout the premises.
