Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, TX is seeking a Grocery Associate to maintain product levels and uphold quality and safety standards in the grocery department. You’ll display products, assist customers, operate pallet jacks, and handle cash while promoting sales through friendly service.

You’ll work with a team, adapt to flexible schedules including nights and weekends, and follow all company policies to ensure a clean, safe shopping environment and positive guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ to operate equipment and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Certification requirements where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains full stock conditions on grocery display racks and shelves.
• Operates pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reloads trucks with return items.
• Ensures dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly if unsold.
• Scans items, tallies totals, and handles cash with accuracy.
• Provides friendly, customer service oriented support and answers price checks.
