Job summary

You will assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals, ensure quality standards, and embody our Customer 1st philosophy and core values in interactions with customers and team members. Responsibilities include helping customers, informing about specials, restocking, labeling, and ensuring food safety and proper temperature logs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in finding items and answering questions.
• Inform customers about specials and recommend products.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates to ensure freshness.
• Provide customers with requested grocery items and maintain stock.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers.
• Gain knowledge of products to respond to questions and make recommendations.
• Create welcoming environment and ensure customers feel valued.
