Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring Grocery Clerks in Bakersfield, CA. You will stock shelves across Dry Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen departments, assist with deliveries, and help maintain clean, well-presented aisles. You will rotate merchandise to ensure freshness and support a fast-paced, customer-focused store environment.

Applicants should be at least 16 years old, flexible, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Safety and compliance with store policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show a mutual respect for others, maintain a high-level code of ethics within Sprouts culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Have good communication skills; ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Be able to perform repetitious activities, and can multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must transfer boxes up to 60 lbs., for short distances, with or without assistance.
• Adhere to safety, health, OSHA and weights and measures regulations.
• Be able to perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves across multiple departments (Dry Grocery, Dairy, Frozen).
• Fill frozen foods bins and maintain store presentation.
• Assist with receiving product deliveries and ensure delivery accuracy.
• Move products to the sales floor using equipment.
• Rotate merchandise to ensure freshest product for customers.
