Fresh Thyme Market in Illinois is seeking a Grocery Clerk to keep shelves stocked and clean, and to assist customers with purchases in a friendly, energetic manner. You will maintain product flow, pricing accuracy, and proper rotation to ensure freshness.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• Preferred 1-2 years grocery retail experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures cleanliness of grocery shelves, storage area, and work area for safety.
• Stocks grocery shelves; presentation, facing, pricing accuracy.
• Rotates stock and discards expired items.
• Assists customers with purchases and product selection.
• Receives, inspects, and logs products for shipment accuracy and temperature.
• Monitors signage, and ensures availability of coupons and promotional material.
• Operates equipment such as scales, wrappers, pallet jacks, hand trucks.
• Weighs and labels products accurately.
• Builds price tags and displays merchandise.
• Participates in pre-inventory preparation and back stock management.
• Maintains product knowledge and sanitation.
• Maintains organized, sanitary department appearance.
