Job summary

Save A Lot in Cleveland, OH is seeking a store clerk to support daily store operations. You will cashier, stock shelves, assist customers and help maintain clean, organized aisles and displays.

The role requires reliable customer service, basic math and good communication in English. You will work with the store team to meet performance standards and safety guidelines, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Proven, efficient retail sales experience; experience in dry grocery, perishable, meat, general grocery, cash management and excellent customer service preferred
• Must read, write and speak in English and demonstrate effective oral and written communication
• Proficiency in basic math and basic computer skills; able to work flexible shifts

Responsibilities

• Operates a cash register efficiently and performs checkout procedures; handles cash, EBT, debit, credit, WIC, gift cards, coupons and checks
• Follows all checkout and cash handling procedures and policies
• Stocking, rotating and maintaining grocery, perishable and refrigerated items
• Unloads deliveries and helps move stock as needed
• Maintains clean, safe and organized store areas; provides excellent customer service
• Trains other team members and supports store management as needed
