Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is seeking a Food Clerk in Troy, OH. You will help create a fresh, welcoming store experience in Fresh departments, sharing product knowledge and assisting customers throughout the shopping journey.

You will maintain displays, stock and rotate products, and follow food safety procedures while working across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery. Prior retail or food service is helpful, but not required.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
