Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is hiring a Grocery Clerk to be a friendly team player who ensures the grocery area runs smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them to items and answering questions while maintaining clean, well-stocked shelves.

In this role, you’ll rotate stock, receive deliveries, and assist across store areas as needed, contributing to a positive shopping experience and the communities we serve.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Grocery/produce experience desirable.
• Customer Service experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and organize items on shelves.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure the freshest product is available to customers.
• Address inquiries and assist customers with location items throughout store.
• Receive product deliveries and ensure accuracy of items.
• Maintain clean shelves, racks, and aisles of store.
• Provide flexibility by helping in any area in order to support store needs.

Position Summary

The Grocery Clerk will be friendly and a team player. The individual will have to ensure that the grocery area is well maintained and running efficiently. Additionally, the Grocery Clerk will be the first point of contact with customers by providing them with information on their groceries.
