GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring a Full-Time Grocery Clerk. You will stock shelves, assist customers, and maintain a clean store, while cashiering and operating a POS system. There is potential for department leadership with a team-oriented environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, reliability, and the ability to work Saturdays/evenings. Training is provided and a positive, collaborative atmosphere is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and some evenings.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work with others.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Previous grocery experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize daily.
• Cashier duties include checking out customers and operating a POS system.
• Unload products from the truck to stock shelves.
• Stock shelves with products for customers to purchase.
• Properly price and display product signs.
• Bag groceries and provide “to your car” carry-out service.
• Record and report accurate inventory counts.
• Assist all customers in their shopping.
• Possibly perform E-Commerce duties (order picking, bagging, delivery).
• Potentially responsible for ordering product for a section.
• Other duties as assigned.
