Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is hiring a Grocery Clerk to support daily store operations in the grocery department. You will stock shelves, assist customers, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment to deliver a positive shopping experience.

The role involves cash handling, operating the POS system, bagging orders, and providing to-your-car carryout service. Laundry items as needed, with weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years old.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and some evenings.
• Basic math skills required.
• Previous grocery experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize daily.
• Cashier duties: checkout customers and operate POS system.
• Unload product from truck for stocking.
• Stock shelves with products for customers to purchase.
• Price and display product signs.
• Sack groceries and provide “to your car” carryout service.
• Record and report accurate inventory counts.
• Assist all customers in their shopping.
• Possible E-Commerce duties: pick orders, bag, and deliver to vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.
