Job summary

Cardenas Markets is seeking a friendly Grocery Clerk who will be the first point of contact for customers and help keep the grocery area well maintained and running smoothly.

You will stock, rotate, and organize shelves, assist shoppers with locating items, and ensure freshness and accuracy in deliveries while supporting store operations and team goals.

Strong customer service and physical stamina are valued, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Grocery/produce experience desirable
• Customer service experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and organize items on shelves.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure the freshest product is available to customers.
• Address inquiries and assist customers with location items throughout store.
• Receive product deliveries and ensure accuracy of items.
• Maintain clean shelves, racks, and aisles of store.
• Provide flexibility by helping in any area in order to support store needs.
