Job summary

Fiesta Mart, Store 066 Katy, invites applications for a Grocery Clerk position in Katy, Texas. Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, you will assist customers, stock shelves, rotate displays, and keep cases clean in a fast-paced environment. The role requires frequent lifting up to 60 lbs, and hours may include nights and weekends.

High‑quality service, bilingual English/Spanish communication, and basic PC/Outlook skills are valued. Retail experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is preferred.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information one-on-one or in small groups.
• Ability to follow detailed but uncomplicated instructions.
• Physical ability to regularly lift up to 60 lbs.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, you will provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service. The role includes assisting customers, cleaning display cases and shelves, cleaning, filling, and rotating the self‑serve displays, and performing heavy lifting, bending, and stooping for extended periods. A variety of hours including nights and weekends may be necessary. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, requiring standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory acuity.
