Food 4 Less in California is looking for a dedicated Grocery Clerk to assist customers, stock shelves, and help ensure product freshness. You will collaborate with the department team to meet sales goals and maintain safety standards in a busy store environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, basic math skills, and readiness to follow the Kroger-family standards while providing a positive shopping experience for our customers and communities.

Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk helps customers discover items they inquire about.
• Informs customers of specials and recommends products to meet needs.
• Check product quality to ensure freshness and review sell-by dates.
• Provide customers with fresh and non-perishable groceries they ordered.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping to the department manager.
• Stay current with ads and promotions and adhere to food safety guidelines.
