Job Function

As a Grocery Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our grocery department. Your responsibilities include stocking shelves, assisting customers, maintaining store cleanliness, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. We seek outgoing, friendly, dependable team players.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service
• Clean and sanitize daily
• Operate POS system and handle cashier duties
• Unload products and stock shelves
• Price and display products appropriately
• Sack groceries and offer carry-out service
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Assist customers in shopping
• Potentially perform E-Commerce duties such as order picking and delivery to vehicles
• Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years old
• Availability to work Saturdays and some evenings
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Previous experience helpful but not required

Physical Demands

• Stand for up to 8+ hours per day
• Repetitive lifting, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting
• Lift 0-20 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally
