Job summary

North-State-Grocery in Connecticut seeks a store associate to deliver world-class customer service and support a busy retail floor. You will assist customers, stock shelves, operate the register, and keep displays clean and inviting.

Responsibilities include merchandising, rotating perishable items, taking inventory, greeting customers, and adhering to safety procedures. You must lift up to 45 pounds and stand for extended periods as part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to Customers, Team Members & Outside Vendors.
• Merchandising, stocking, rotating product, facing, cashier, bagging, and cleaning.
• Transport stock for storage in stock areas.
• Keep store shelves stocked according to ordering system requirements.
• Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
• Rotate perishable merchandise and pull out of date product as needed.
• Greet customers as they enter the store and be observant.
• Receive, open, unpack and issue sales floor merchandise.
• Requisition merchandise from supplier based on space and demand.
• Take inventory or identify items to reorder or replenish.
• Follow safety operating procedures and company policies.
