Job summary

Meijer is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers, share product knowledge, and help shoppers find what they need while maintaining appealing displays.

This role involves stocking, rotating, and merchandising products, using technology for tasks, and following strict food safety procedures. Prior retail or food service experience helps but is not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or food service is helpful but not required.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

We are committed to offering competitive pay that reflects market standards and ensures consistency within our organization.

This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with rises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.

$15.25 - $16.98
