Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts.
• Greet customers entering store and maintain checkout area cleanliness.
• Establish prices and tabulate bills using cash registers or scanners.
• Process merchandise returns and exchanges.
• Resolve customer questions and provide information on procedures or policies.
• Observe schedule hours as assigned by Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
